Gender violence Insurance: A campaign for “Fundación Ana Bella” on 25N.

We contacted the Ana Bella Foundation to launch a campaign on World Day against gender violence; a campaign that would make us reflect on an insurance that should never exist. The foundation wanted to avoid violence in the campaign itself, so we decided to use white mannequins, which symbolize the total depersonalization of women; violence was represented by painting on top of the mannequin, on which were written phrases of recurring excuses in battered women such as "it was only once" or "deep down he loves me". We launched the fictitious insurance, we managed to piss off a lot of people but most importantly; we drew attention, increased donations and made people think about an insurance that should never exist but that today, unfortunately, would be necessary.
